CUBIC AWARDED MIMOS TECHNOLOGY RECIPIENT

On 4th Dec 2008, Cubic Electronics Sdn. Bhd. (CESB) and its associate partner SelectTV Solution Sdn. Bhd. (SSSB) each signed a Memorandum of Understanding with MIMOS Berhad to acknowledge CESB and SSSB as potential technology recipients from MIMOS.

The scope of MOU are for the parties to work non-exclusively to explore possibilities of technology transfer and joint-development of business plan(s) for product development based on, and commercialisation of Advanced Informatics platform for specific solutions related to infotainment and communication products.

“The primary goal of the technology transfer process is to encourage broad use of MIMOS-developed technology platforms among indigenous industries and enable the integration of MIMOS technology platforms into existing product lines and/or further developing the technology verticals to create new products,” says Dato’ Abdul Wahab Abdullah, President & Chief Executive Officer, MIMOS.
