CIL Initiates Skill Training Programs For Retrenched Employees

To address the current issue of the escalating numbers of employees being retrenched, Cubic Integrated Learning has taken a constructive approach in organizing training programs for employees who were retrenched from Cubic Electronics Sdn Bhd and other industries in Melaka.

The main objective of such training programs are to equip affected employees with acquiring new skills in areas identified as having skills shortages and to further enhance existing skills  and learned knowledge, thus giving  them  wider employment options and enabling them to secure alternative employment once completed.
These training programs are which are fully sponsored by Malaysia Human Resource Ministry (MOHR).

In line with being a caring employer, Cubic Integrated Group has initiated the Retrenchment Training Scheme via its education and training thrust - Cubic Integrated Learning. CIL with its central ink specialist, Cubic Learning Factory (CLF) responsible for the retrenchment Training Programs, is ardently urging all affected workers to take advantage of training during this difficult time.

Training is not an end but a means to an end," says Cubic Integrated Learning Vice President, Mahalingam Maniam. In these times of high unemployment, employment security is not guaranteed, and if you lose your job, having some training increases one’s chances of employment and other specific job opportunities.”

The training programs organized for retrenched workers offers upgrading courses and manages funding incentives to encourage skills-certification and lifelong learning. Some of the training programs are the National Dual Training System (SLDN) Training Scheme, Safety and Health (SHO) Officer Training Scheme and the Entrepreneur Training Scheme. Cubic Integrated Learning strives toward continual skills upgrading and retraining so as to achieve lifelong employability and enhance career prospects.
